Paul Haas Fund

Founded in 1966 by Mrs B.G. Macdonald, formerly Mrs Paul Haas, in memory of her husband, Dr Paul Haas, student in the Faculty of Mathematical and Physical Science, 1894-99, member of the staff of the Department of Botany, 1919-42, Reader in Plant Chemistry, 1941-42, and Fellow of the College, who died on 6 April 1960.

1. The income of the Paul Haas Fund is applied to the provisions of grants from time to time for the benefit of postgraduate students in need in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the Department of Biology at University College London.
   
   
2. Grants are made on the joint recommendation of the Heads of the two Departments.
