R. W. Chambers Memorial Prize
Founded in 1991 by an anonymous donation in memory of R. W. Chambers, one of the School's first lecturers
- A prize known as the R. W. Chambers Memorial Prize may
be awarded in each
session.
- The prize is awarded by the Council
on the recommendation of the Director of
the School of Library, Archive and Information Studies.
- The prize is awarded for outstanding work in the
field of historical
bibliography by on the M.A. in Library and Information
studies.
- The value of the prize is £100.
- Candidates for Awards must have been awarded the MPhil
or PhD Degree in
Library, Archive and Information Studies.
- The qualifications of the candidates are
considered by the Director of
Library, Archive and Information Studies.
- The award is announced in December.
- Award are subject to the provisions of the General Regulations
