Wiley Prize
Founded in 1997 by John Wiley and Sons Ltd, publishers
- A prize known as the Wiley Prize may be awarded
in each session.
- The Prize is awarded by the Council
on the recommendation of the Faculty of
Engineering Sciences.
- The Prize is awarded to the First Year undergraduate
student in the
Department of Computer Science who has achieved the best performance
in
Programming courses offered by the Department.
- The Prize takes the form of publications by Wiley
to the value of £225 - the prizes are Wiley Book Vouchers for 3rd year,
£100, 2nd £75 and 3rd £50.
- No application is necessary.
- The qualifications of candidates are considered
by the Head of the
Department of Computer Science.
- The information will be sent back to Registry on
the Prize Return Form by the 3rd week of June.
- The award is announced in July.
- Awards are subject to the provisions of the General Regulations.
