Student Loans and Time Limited Enrolment
UCL expects all students to pay at least half of their tuition fees balance or provide proof of sponsorship before the 31st October.
The Student Loan Company (SLC) will automatically send UCL details of any tuition fee loan once your application for student support has been approved. Should the SLC be paying only part of your fee liability you will be expected to pay at least half of the balance at enrolment.
Students whose tuition fee loan has not been approved, or who fail to pay half of their tuition fees balance will be TIME LIMITED ENROLLED until 31st October. Students who fall under this category will not be reported as fully enrolled to the SLC and their student loan for maintenance, grants and/or any UCL bursaries will not be released into your bank account until you are classified as fully enrolled.
