Tuition Fee Arrangements for Year Abroad / Sandwich Year Students
If you are undertaking a year abroad as part
of your course requirement, your fees remain
to UCL. If you are in receipt of SLC
support you should renew your award
in the normal way.
If you attend a course at an
establishment abroad and are
charged tuition fees, these may
be reimbursed by UCL if the prior approval and
consent of your academic
department has been
obtained. You should send detailed
invoices or receipts to:

Room G19, South Wing
If you are undertaking a sandwich year as part of your course requirement, your fees remain payable to UCL. If you are in receipt of SLC support you should renew your award in the normal way.
Sandwich year fees for UK/EU students starting 2012/13 onwards are 20% of their corresponding full-time fee.
Sandwich year fees for Overseas students starting 2012/13 onwards are 50% of their corresponding full-time fee.
Extramural years are additional to your course of study and not part of the requirements of the course. As such, if you choose to undertake an extramural year, you will not pay fees during that year.
