Annual Fee Increase Information
WHAT IS THE ANNUAL FEE INCREASE?
Tuition fees increase annually for all of UCL's students (with the exception of UK/EU Undergraduates, whose fees are set by the Government). The fee you see listed on these fees schedules is for your first year of study only (for those starting in 2014/15). You should budget for a 3-5% increase each year for every further year of study.
WHY DO FEES INCREASE?
The fees rise each year to allow for a combination of factors, including inflation. However, the percentage rise is not necessarily the same as the rate of inflation in any one year, because inflation is just one factor of many which are considered when setting UCL's rate.
WHEN IS THE INCREASE APPLIED?
The increase is applied at the start of each new academic year; every September.
