This event will highlight the importance of managing hearing loss as part of speech and language therapy intervention and offer practical suggestions for management.

This multi-disciplinary programme is aimed at professionals already working in child or adult services in health, education or social care who have an interest in developing research expertise and a motivation to carry out supported research in their workplace.


PhD Language & Cognition with a specialisation in Clinical Communication Science

This MPhil/PhD programme is tailored for qualified professionals working with communication impairment to continue to work in the NHS or education sectors while studying.


Aphasia Therapy Research Group

The UCL Aphasia Research Group is run by UCL researchers and speech and language therapists working in the NHS. It is designed to open up communication between researchers, clinicians and anyone else with an interest in aphasia.
