Symposium: New perspectives on deaths of children and adolescents with life-threatening illnesses or chronic conditions. Thursday 21st November 2013. Further Information
CPRU and SCIE have joined together to produce a range of materials to support partnership working in child protection. Cross-cutting lead for social care, Amanda Edwards, coordinated the project that focused specifically on liaison between acute paediatric and child protection services.
Cross Cutting Themes
The work of the CPRU is underpinned and strengthened by the cross-cutting themes.
These themes are:
- Health Economics - led by Steve Morris (UCL)
- Sociology of Health and Illness - led by Helen Roberts (UCL)
- Social Care - led by Amanda Edwards (Social Care Institute of Excellence)
The leads for these themes work closely with the Principal Investigators of the four research themes to provide advice and input in their particular areas of expertise. They also conduct their own cross-cutting research projects.
