GIScience 2014 Conference

From September 23-26, project members Gabriel Rosser, Chris Gale and Jianan Shen attended the GIScience 2014 conference in Vienna to present CPC research.

Chris gave an oral presentation detailing his recent results concerning public perception of the Police in London, based on the the Public Attitude Survey.

Gabriel gave an oral presentation on his work with self-exciting point process models for crime prediction. Jianan presented a poster describing the results of analysing police foot patrol GPS data. All were well-received, with several interested delegates asking questions about the work.
