Introduction to UCL Consultants

The course is designed for any academics, researchers, or professional services staff whose duties may involve consultancy or supporting consultancy projects.
This course will cover the definition of consultancy, UCL policies related to consultancy, and the administrative process for consultancy activity at UCL
Providing an overview of UCL policies related to consultancy, this course will cover: the benefits of consultancy; entitlement to consultancy activity for different types of employment contracts; permissions and related paperwork; and the basics of financial systems relevant to consultancy.

Consultancy Skills Workshop
Date: Tuesday 13th February
Venue: UCLB Offices, 2nd Floor, The Network Building,
This course is open to academic staff members who are or will be undertaking consultancy activity.
It will provide an introduction to relevant skills, including planning and scoping projects, risk identification and management, relationship management, and commercial awareness.
Please note that delegates should have attended the “Introduction to UCL Consultants” course prior to this one.
