Eimear O'Casey

Eimear O'Casey is a Research Assistant, currently involved in the coalition government and parliament projects.

Prior to joining the Constitution Unit, she worked on democratic governance in the former Soviet Union at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe’s office in Warsaw. She has also spent time at the Scottish Government and Le Monde Diplomatique, and is a reporter for the House of Lords Hansard. She has participated in election observation missions in Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.

She has a Masters in History from Edinburgh University and a Masters in Legal and Political Theory from UCL. Her interests include democratization, democratic theory, comparative politics and intellectual history.
