Where is the office located?

The office is located in the UCL School of Public Policy: The Rubin Building 29/30 Tavistock Sq, London

What is the writing sample and how long does the writing sample have to be?

The writing sample can be an essay or a report or a section or summary of a dissertation. The sample should be no longer than 3000 words.

How many other interns will be working at the Constitution Unit?

There will be 2-5 interns in every three month intake.

How often do you recruit?

We have four intakes a years on interns. These are in January, April, July and October

What are the typical office hours?

Standard office hours - The office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Can I work part time?

We are flexible and we usually ask interns to work between 3 – 5 days at the Unit.

What am I going to be working on?

You will be working on one of the research topics in the unit.

Who will I be working with?

The unit is run by the director; Robert Hazell and deputy director; Meg Russell. The team consists of a number of full time and part time researchers and an administrator. https://www.ucl.ac.uk/constitution-unit/people

How will I be treated?

You will be valued and treated no different to any member of staff.
