To edit your follow-up notes, type "edit/" after the URL in your browser. You will then be prompted for your editing username and password. (If you have lost these then email "rsm@ucl.ac.uk"). An editing page will then appear in which you can type and save text in a "content" field. In the content field you may either type XHTML source code or "plain text", depending on whether you have set the "Interpret as HTML" menu on the left of the window to "yes" or "no" . In plain text mode new lines and spaces at the beginning of new lines will be rendered as such on the page, and new lines beginning with a * will be interpreted as list items. In addition the following syntax can be used to provide some formatting and web functionality: HEADING{Some text} LARGE{Some text} VERYBIG{Some text} BOLD{Some text} ITALIC{Some text} UNDERLINE{Some text} BOLDUNDERLINED{Some text} LINK{Some text}TO{URL} LINKTO{URL} MAILTO{Email address} (Includes anti-spam via conversion to HTML character codes.) ANTISPAM{Email address} (Conversion to HTML character codes.) {LINE} (N.B. must be on a separate line.) In XHTML mode, you should type XHTML mark-up as though you were composing the part of a web page between (but not including) the <body> and </body> tags. |
