The Cochrane Neuromuscular Disease Group was registered with the Cochrane
Collaboration in March 1998, with its editorial base in King's College
London.
In September 2008 the editorial base moved to the MRC Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases at the Institute of Neurology, University College London.
It aims to provide systematic reviews of all interventions for all neuromuscular diseases, including:
- Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
- Motor neuron disease
- Peripheral nerve disorders
- Myasthenia gravis
- Neuromuscular function disorders and muscle diseases
Since late 2008 the Group has begun to prepare systematic reviews of diagnostic test accuracy.
