10-11 January 2012: Chaucer, Boccaccio and the Italian Trecento

A Symposium will be held in Pembroke College on January 10th and 11th, 2012. Addressing a wide range of topics on Chaucer and Italy, speakers will include: Nicholas Havely, C. David Benson, Warren Ginsberg, William E. Coleman, Maria Battaglia Ricci, William Robins, and Kara Gaston, amonsgt others. The symposium will bring together Italianists and Chaucerians, in anticipation of the 700th anniversary of the birth of Boccaccio.
