Research Summary
The Howorka group is developing chemical tools and approaches to facilitate single-molecule research. Proteins are engineered to create functional biomaterials and patterned structures useful in analytical chemistry and biophysics. In addition, surfaces of solid substrates are modified and applied for the ultrasensitive detection of DNA.Research Activities
