Research Summary
Our work is focussed on the development of thin films of materials by chemical vapour deposition and sol-gel. We are also interested in the formation of functionalised nanoparticles, especially of gold and metal oxides. Our work is driven by functional properties and we regularly measure photocatalysis, wetting, antimicrobial properties and conductivity. We have made the worlds stickiest hydrophobic surface.Research Activities
