My research interests include

Behavioural neuroscience - specifically the neurobiological and pharmacological basis of decision making, emotion, motivation, and reward. I’m especially interested in using economic models to understand the neural basis of economic decisions involving risk and delay to the outcome of monetary options. Understanding the subjective objective relationship of these properties of rewards can explain how the brain creates value signals used to guide choice and why people differ in their risk aversion and impulsiveness.
