Short courses

Spring  / Summer English Courses for International University Students Two 3 week courses running in Spring and Summer each year and suitable for university students overseas who need to improve their English for graduation.

• English for Academic Purposes (EAP) combined with Academic Subject teaching (for groups)

Please note these courses are for groups of students typically from the same overseas institution.

Available to international universities a tailor-made, academic-specific English language course typically 2 to 4 weeks in duration, to match students’ own degree specifications. Courses are coordinated and taught by the UCL Centre for Languages & International Education and the relevant UCL academic department. It is recommended that students have a minimum of 5.5 IELTS to fully benefit from this intensive programme. Previous tailor-made EAP with Academic Subject teaching courses have been offered in collaboration with the UCL Department of Computer Sciences, UCL Engineering, UCL Management Study Centre and the Bartlett School of Planning.
