The Self-Access Centre - English - Lectures
The lectures are provided as part of the English courses, and cover a wide range of fields. Although the lectures focus on a specific academic subject area, they are all at an introductory level with no previous knowledge required, and all specialist vocabulary explained either in the lecture or on the accompanying worksheets. As such, they are of use to anyone who is interested in a subject, or simply as listening practice. Some lectures are accompanied by transcripts or exercises that test listening comprehension. These may be found in the green shelves marked "Lecture Notes" in the Self-Access Centre.
