Are the courses assessed and can I get a certificate/credit?

Our courses carry CPD certification and so they are attendance-based only. (Click here for further information on CPD courses and what it means). You can request a certificate of attendance at the end of a term, provided that you have attended at least 70% of the course.

Our courses are not assessed and there is no exam at the end. Our students progress naturally and on the recommendation of tutors onto the next level without the pressure of a pass/fail system.

Our courses do not carry credits and are not directly affiliated with any of the UCL degree programmes. Some departments may offer credits to students who take our courses, but this process is totally at the department's discretion and the Language Centre is not involved with these procedures.
