Other Courses 2012
Taking Units in Other Departments
As part of Classics and Ancient World degrees, you can
take courses in other departments. In order to be counted as 'inside'
modules, these must relate to any aspect of Greco-Roman
antiquity, the Ancient Near East, ancient Egypt, the ancient languages
of this
area, and other ancient Indo-European languages. You should consult
your Personal Tutor if in
doubt about whether a course qualifies as within the Ancient
World/Classics area.
Classics and Ancient
World students may also take a certain amount of units outside of these
categories. Students may take up to 1 'outside' unit(s) in their first
year and up to 1 'outside' unit(s) across their second and third years
combined.
For rules for applying for modules in History and Archaeology please see below. For all other departments you must apply direct to the department. Courses are generally on a first-come, first-served basis, so seek permission and add modules on portico as soon as is possible.
