Megan Bradshaw

Megan Bradshaw is a first-year MPhil/PhD student in Comparative Literature based in the Department of Spanish and Latin American Studies. Her research posits that, by re-mapping and re-examining the translation of European urban models into Latin American discourses, a poetics of urban and literary infrastructure can be developed with which to address the heterogeneous relationship between planning ideologies, spatial development, and the textualization of the cultural identities of Latin American cities. She is particularly interested in the modern urban literary production of Buenos Aires, Havana, and Rio de Janeiro. Megan is currently a facilitator for Thoughtsforward, a committee of research students at UCL's School of European Languages, Culture and Society.
