Megan Bradshaw
Megan
Bradshaw is a first-year MPhil/PhD student in Comparative Literature
based in the Department of Spanish and Latin American Studies. Her
research posits that,
by re-mapping and re-examining the
translation of European urban models into Latin American discourses, a
poetics of urban and literary infrastructure can be developed with which
to address the heterogeneous
relationship
between planning ideologies, spatial development, and the
textualization of the cultural identities of Latin American cities.
She is particularly interested in the modern urban literary production
of Buenos Aires, Havana, and Rio de Janeiro. Megan is currently a
facilitator for
Thoughtsforward, a committee of research students at UCL's School of European Languages,
Culture and Society.
