Kasia Boddy is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English. She is the author of Boxing: A Cultural History (Reaktion, 2008) and retains an interest in the relationship between sport and other forms of urban culture (literature, art, film). She contributed an essay on urban pot plants to Restless Cities and a piece on the Russell Square Flower Shows of the 1840s to the Bloomsbury Project, and is completing a book on geraniums for Reaktion Books.
