Penelope Barrett

Penny_Barrett

Penny Barrett is an independent researcher and specialist translator, with a background in medieval European languages and literatures, as well as Chinese studies. She is currently based in the China Centre for Health and Humanity at UCL.

A long-term collaborator of Dr Vivienne Lo, Penny has worked on various projects in the cross-cultural history of medicine, food and body culture, and the visual language of Chinese medicine.
