UCL Bloomsbury Theatre has a modern and spacious, mirrored
rehearsal studio, with an upright piano, in the basement
of the UCL Bloomsbury

Garden Foyer in the UCL Institute of Child Health
is home to a well looked after Steinway grand piano: a good

The Edward
Lewis lecture theatre in the UCL Windeyer Building
houses the Medical School's grand piano. The piano is supervised
by the UCL Medical Students Music Society (RUMS Music Soc):

space and the piano is reglularly used by the UCL Union Music
Society's various
choirs, though
it is not a Union
space, but
teaching space bookable through UCL

The Housman
Room (managed by the Senior
Common committee)
contains a Yamaha grand piano, owned by the Oxford
and Cambridge Muiscal Club, which regularly meets and performs
there. Only members of the
Senior Common Room and their guests have access to the Housman
Room, and they should contact the senior
Common Room Manager (Jane Spender) for
details of access to the instrument.
Chandler House, home to research groups within the UCL Division of Psychology and Language Science, has a rehearsal room with a grand piano. Regulations particular to the use of this instrument can be found here, and booking enquiries should be directed to CMC member Bronwen Evans.
The UCL Hospitals sports
and social club, The 52 Club, at Bonham Carter House, 52
Gower Street, has a large, bright,
rehearsal space, and a grand piano, but there is a hire fee,
and the space is often block booked by RADA,
which is next door. Contact the Manager of the 52 Club for
