7 March 2011
Professor Faraneh Vargha-Khadem, Director of the Centre for Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience, spoke at a side event during the 55th Session of the UN Commission for the Status of Women in New York. The theme of this year's event was "access and participation of women and girls to education, training, science and technology, including for the promotion of women's equal access to full employment and decent work". This event featured a panel of speakers who explored what it would look like, to educate girls and women beyond basic curricula.
