Research Description

In my work I am trying to understand how memories are formed, represented and recollected by the human brain. We explore this complex issue by studying healthy volunteers as well as patients with memory impairments, using standard and high-resolution structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and neuropsychological testing.

Education Description

I do ad-hoc teaching on several MSc courses at UCL.  I have a number of PhD students and Masters research students that I teach on a one-to-one basis.  As part of my public engagement programme, I do several public lectures a year, and I also lecture to A-level Psychology students, who study my work as part of their curriculum.
