Prof Claudio Stern, Head of CDB, has
been elected President of the International Society for Developmental
Biology
for 2009-2013.

The ISDB is a Federation of the developmental biology societies around the world, and its mission is to promote communication between the thousands of scientists working in this discipline across the world by a number of different mechanisms including helping the establishment of new societies and supporting those that already exist (especially in developing countries), organising conferences of which the most important one is the world congress held every four years. |
