Neuroscientist receives international prize for ‘pioneering work’

Professor John O’Keefe has won the 2008 Neuroscience Prize of the Peter and Patricia Gruber Foundation for “his pioneering work concerning the neural basis of complex cognitive functions in freely moving animals”.
