Introducing you to employers
Designed to put you directly in touch with small to medium sized organisations, we’ve set up a shortlisting service connecting UCL students, PhD researchers and graduates with opportunities in organisations in a range of industries, including with UCL alumni.
We will actively source summer internship and graduate opportunities for potential UCL candidates and present applications to employers.
All you need to do is register and upload your CV to be able to search and apply for any of the jobs or internships we receive. You will need to create a tailored cover letter for each opportunity you apply for. The more information you give us when you register about what you’re looking for and what your skills are, the more likely you are to be informed automatically about suitable vacancies on the system and shortlisted for them.

Opportunities exclusively available for UCL students and graduates to intern at a London-based SME this summer.
Internships are paid at the London Living Wage, and are available in a range of sectors including:
- IT / Tech
- Arts / Culture
- Life Sciences / Health
- Social Sciences / Media
Internships will commence as follows:
- 6 weeks starting 12th June and ending 21st July 2017
- 8 weeks starting 12th June and ending 4th August 2017
- 6 weeks starting 10th July and ending 18th August 2017
- 8 weeks starting 10th July and ending 1st September 2017
All summer internships can be
found advertised on the UCL Talent Bank website for 2 weeks each until March 30th.
How to tell if an internship is part of the scheme:
- You will be able to spot them in the ‘Featured Jobs’ tab on the left of each page of this website.
- They will contain the words: “Exclusive to UCL Summer Internship Scheme” in the vacancy title.
- The words: “UCL Internship” will be listed under the vacancy title.

If you are looking for work to fit around your studies, you can find a job through the UCLU Jobshop which is suited to current students looking for temporary, part-time and seasonal work. You’ll be able to directly apply for roles based on campus or with local employers around London.
