  • CVs for part-time work / Writing a UK CV
  • Effective Job Applications
  • De-mystifying the UK Job Market
  • Career Planning for Masters International Students
  • Postgraduate Study options and funding
  • Working in the UK after graduation – Visa information
  • Succeeding at UK Interviews and Assessment Centres
  • Marketing yourself in your home country
  • Creative Job hunting for International Students

All talks are held "On Campus", (at the Careers Service, in the ULU Building or in one of the main UCL Buildings), and room details will be confirmed when you book to attend.

How to prepare...

The Help With... section of our website suggests a range of resources on all of the topics covered in the International Students' Programme.

Using these in advance will help you get more out of the talks.

Booking Instructions...

For all events, you MUST book in advance to guarantee a place. This enables us to monitor attendance levels and ensure that talks are more effective for those attending.

Bookings are made and managed via your "My Careers Service" account. If  using this for the first time, please read the My Careers Service Instructions carefully before trying to log in.

Booking for each Talk will open TWO weeks before it takes place and will close when it is fully booked or, at the latest, at midnight on the day before the event takes place.

Cancellations can be made at any time up to midnight the day before a talk takes place so, if you're unable to book because a Talk is full, you can check My Careers Service regularly in case places do become available.

No deposit is required once you've booked and all talks are free to attend.

Can I attend if I haven't booked?

On the day, after all registered students have arrived, space permitting, students that haven't booked will be admitted on a first come first served basis but we cannot guarantee entry.
