Information Team
The Information Team are generally the first point of contact for all users of the Careers Service and can help you make best use of the range of services we provide. They also have specific responsibility for maintaining and updating the resources available in the Careers Information Library and through Careers Tagged - our online Careers Resources Library.
Martin Brown - Information Manager
Having graduated with a degree in Maths and German, Martin began work in an academic library before moving into careers information provision at the University of Westminster. Having developed his experience in this field for five years, he moved to UCL in 2005 to manage the Careers Information Team and oversee the development of the information resources held both at the Careers Service and on its Online Careers Library. He also has specific responsibility for overall maintenance of the Careers Service website.
Alison Watson - Senior Information Officer
Alison graduated with a BA from Warwick University in Classical Civilisation and continued onto an MA by research in the department, studying the Greek Revival in eighteenth-century British architecture. As well as continuing with academic research, she did a further year at Warwick as a graduate trainee librarian with the Careers Centre before taking up the role as Information Officer at UCL Careers Service. Alison also has an interest in the Arts and also works part time for the Royal Albert Hall and the City of London Festival.
