The Information Team are generally the first point of contact for all users of UCL Careers and can help you make best use of the range of services we provide. They also have specific responsibility for maintaining and updating the resources available in the Careers Information Library and through Careers Tagged - our online Careers Resources Library.
Having graduated with a degree in Maths and German, Martin began work in an academic library before moving into careers information provision at the University of Westminster. Having developed his experience in this field for five years, he moved to UCL in 2005 to manage the Careers Information Team and oversee the development of the information resources held both at UCL Careers and on its Online Careers Library. He also has specific responsibility for overall maintenance of the UCL Careers website.
Maaria completed a Law & Business degree at Middlesex University and has since worked in a number of frontline, administrative and customer service roles within further education and local authority organisations. Maaria joined the UCL Careers Information Team as Careers Receptionist in 2014. Her day to day role involves being first point of contact for all students/staff and visitors and various administrative tasks to enable efficient running of UCL Careers services.
Sarah graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of Warwick in 2008. After university, she worked in Primary Mental Health Care and Research settings before joining UCL Careers in January 2016. In the role of Careers Information Officer, Sarah is responsible for assisting in researching and updating the Careers Library, editing the UCL Careers website and coordinating appointment and event bookings.
Rachel graduated with a degree in English and History from the University of Sheffield. Subsequently she worked in museums before moving to The British Library, where she worked registering readers and giving tours before specialising in the Sound and Humanities collections.
Rachel joined UCL Careers in October 2016 as an Information Officer and her duties include researching and updating the Careers Library, editing the UCL Careers website and coordinating appointment and event bookings.
