Placements and Internships

‘The UCL Internship programme provided our company with an excellent intern with skills beyond her level of education, we could not be more pleased with how the internship turned out. The student excelled at all her tasks and her professional development during her internship was great to see. She was easy to work with and was able to take initiative and work independently which is crucial in a small company.’ Aktis Strategy

Internships

UCL have a number of students looking for paid internships during the summer months and part-time during term-time. We have dedicated support for the following programmes:

Arts & Sciences BASc is UCL’s interdisciplinary ‘Liberal Arts’ style course. Students select a combination of science, humanities and social science modules and they study a language alongside core modules designed to foster interdisciplinary thinking. Please email n.flintoff@ucl.ac.uk for more information.

BSc in Management Science course is an analytical programme with students using a variety of tools to solve management problems in data-driven companies. Please contact rhiannon.e.williams@ucl.ac.uk for more information.

Engineering Faculty offers recruitment opportunities for a variety of students from our nine engineering departments.  Our students think, make, model, design, analyse, challenge, innovate, and practice what they’ve learned by tackling engaging projects that address real-world problems.  Please email k.goodfellow@ucl.ac.uk to discuss.

If you have opportunities for students from other programmes please email employers@ucl.ac.uk

See our Terms of Engagement - Shortlisting Services for us sourcing UCL candidates for your opportunities.

Places on this scheme are limited and internship proposals will be assessed against our criteria, on a first come first served basis until all funding is reserved.

This scheme is open to internship proposals from SMEs that are based in or frequently trading in greater London.
