Careers News Header

There are plenty of ways to keep up-to-date with what's happening at UCL Careers including forthcoming events, current job opportunities and other careers news or important updates.

Planned Closures

UCL Careers is closed on all UK Bank Holidays and UCL-wide Closure Days so we'll be unable to deal with calls / emails on these days.

Additionally, UCL Careers will be closed on the following dates:

  • Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th July 2017 - closed both days for staff training
  • Monday 31st July to Friday 4th August 2017 inclusive - closed for our annual Closure Week for staff training, updating and planning. (Re-opening as normal on Monday 7th August 2017)

During any closure period, you will still have access to:

  • myUCL CAREERS (booking system for appointments and events)
  • A variety of online Job Sites aimed at current students and recent graduates
  • A wide range of resources related to key topics that we can help with

Any emails sent to careers@ucl.ac.uk or messages left on our main 020 3549 5900 number during these closure periods will be dealt with as soon as we re-open.

Be the first to know about what’s new at UCL Careers by signing up to personalised email alerts through your myUCL CAREERS account.

You’ll find out about current jobs, events happening at UCL Careers and The Careers Group including when they are open for booking as well as all the latest news.

Sign up by following these simple steps:

  1. LOG IN to your myUCL CAREERS account then select ‘Update Profile’.
  2. Select "Yes" to “Receive targeted information”. We can then send you general emails relevant to your course, level of study, (expected) graduation year or your specific areas of interest.
  3. Decide whether you want to hear about forthcoming events through an automated daily or weekly email events bulletin.
  4. Tell us what sort of vacancies you're interested in e.g. part / full time, internship etc. and in which industry areas to enable us to send more targeted information.

and we'll do the rest...

Vacancy notifications:

Please note, the myUCL CAREERS system is not currently set up to automatically send details of all new vacancies added to our job sites in a daily or weekly email jobs bulletin.

However, this service is planned for the near future - if you have registered to receive news from us as outlined above, we will let you know when this service is available so that you can update your profile accordingly if you are still actively job hunting then.

In the meantime, if you are currently searching for jobs, we recommend looking at our main job sites, (JobOnline / Talent Bank etc.), on a regular basis for details of new opportunities.

We're always posting new and exciting things on...
