Careers Fairs

What to Expect...

UCL Careers Fair

At our popular industry-specific fairs, you’ll get one-on-one time with many employers and graduate recruiters looking to hire UCL students and graduates. It’s an opportunity to speak to managers and recent graduates to find out about jobs you may be interested in, hiring selection processes and current opportunities as well as a chance to ask questions important to you. A broad range of employers attend our fairs, from international organisations to small and medium businesses, so you can really compare what they have to offer.

Before you arrive

Make the most of your time at our Careers Fairs by doing a little research beforehand.

Workshops on networking at Recruitment Fairs

During the autumn term we run a series of lunchtime workshops on making the most of events like this to give you useful tips on how to network effectively.

If you missed workshops that have already happened, please download the Presentation Slides now...

Check out Exhibitor Listings

We provide a stand plan with details of recruiters attending for all our Fairs. Check the links in the left menu for details of the Fair(s) you're interested in...

Additional Reading

Use the wide range of resources suggested in our Help with… pages to do some thorough research on the industry that the fair covers to find out more about the sector, roles and companies you're interested in.

After the Event

If you were unable to attend any of the Fairs listed below, you can still use the exhibitor listings to find out which employers were actively recruiting UCL students at the fair and check their websites for information on current opportunities.

Many companies who exhibit at Fairs may also deliver a presentation later in the term. Check our Presentations Listing for details or register with UCLAlert! to be emailed with news about these.

They may also be involved with delivering workshops or one-to-one coaching through our Skills4Work Programme.

The relevant pages of our Help With... section can also help you further research the sector you're interested in, find current vacancies plus give you information on support available when writing applications or preparing for interviews.

Don't miss future events

Sign-up to UCLAlert! to find out about other similar events you might be interested in.

Our Sector Themed Recruitment Fairs for this academic year have already taken place. However, details of recruiters who attended our fairs, (and are therefore actively targeting UCL students), can be useful for those who are currently exploring opportunities in these sectors.
