Teaching
Students at the UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Science benefit from the productive collaborations between scientists and clinical researchers and the exposure to clinical aspects of research activities, as well as access to world-class facilities.
Central to our activities is close collaboration between industry, clinicians and academics. Significant income from scientific grants and charitable organisations support our role as leader in cardiovascular research in the UK.
We run a ‘buddy’ mentoring scheme to support, inspire and guide students to further their careers both in the institute and in the scientific community as a whole.
