ICS is one of seven institutes within the Faculty of Population Health Sciences which is part of the School of Life and Medical Sciences.
We have around 140 staff located across the UCL campus and in UCL partner hospitals, but the core admin team are located on the 3rd floor of 170 Tottenham Court Rd, W1T 7HA.
The Faculty intranet has a wealth of useful information for staff about HR, research & funding services, enterprise and professional networks and much more. Staff are strongly encouraged to familiarise themselves with the Faculty intranet and to use it to look for information about most general aspects of being an ICS employee.
Finance and expenses
All purchasing should be done through approved UCL suppliers and PO numbers and ordering done on the UCL MyFinance system which all staff have access to. If you have any doubts, please contact our Finance Officer Ephraim Robinson
All travel must be organised through the UCL travel agent Ian Allan, this includes domestic train tickets, all flights and all hotels (UK and overseas). If you book and pay for your own travel and accommodation, you may not be able to claim your expenses back.
All IT equipment (incl. Apple products) must likewise be purchased through the approved UCL suppliers, otherwise it is not covered by UCL IT support or warranties, and you may not be able to reclaim your expenses on the equipment.
Expenses must be submitted using MyFinance, please check UCL’s expenses policy before submitting a claim.
All annual leave must be booked using MyView, which all staff have access to
As ICS staff are located at different sites, IT support is provided by different teams.
There is also the UCL ISD service helpdesk which are able to help with most issues
If you get logged out, or have forgotten your password, one of the ICS computer reps is able to issue you with a token to log-in to your account and change your password. Computer reps are Simon Galloway, Rikke Osterlund and Elaine McDonald and we can be reached on 020 3108 2348.
