FPLC
There is an AKTA Explorer in the Paul O'Gorman building, housed in a cold cabinet, plus an AKTA Prime. All these systems are used for biomolecule biomolecular characterisation and purification using Size Exclusion, Ion Exchange, Reverse Phase or Affinity Chromatography strategies.
These systems can be booked to use only after training. Assistance with method development is available.
