Introduction

The North London medical oncology SpR rotation was established in 1996 and has 11 posts in cancer centres and cancer units offering an extensive and varied programme of experience. Appointees will have a designated programme at the beginning of their 4 year programme to include all the major specialties and a year in a cancer unit. A primary strength of the North London rotation is the close proximity to extensive research facilities at University College London. These include the on site programmes of Professor Chris Boshoff and Professor Richard Begent. In addition, there are extensive educational opportunities available both on site and also with the other programmes available in London.
