Group Leader Opportunities at UCL Cancer Institute

The Institute is now recruiting Group Leaders to lead independent ground-breaking research programmes. We seek high-achieving individuals with original projects in basic, clinical and translational cancer research. We are particularly interested in hearing from post-doctoral fellows ready to launch their independent career, with an interest in cancer stem cells, genomics and informatics, developmental biology, signalling, as they relate to cancer biology, diagnosis and therapy.

Group Leaders will be expected to win competitive personal Fellowships awarded by external funding agencies. Successful Fellowship applicants will receive a start-up support fund. Expressions of interest are invited from individuals at all career stages.

Candidate Principal and Senior Fellows will have an established international reputation for innovative research and should have demonstrable experience in team leadership.
Candidate Career Development Fellows will have three to six years post-doctoral experience with original and creative achievements. Interim funding is available to support exceptional individuals for a fixed period pending external Fellowship award.
