Overview

The International Office is a professional centre for international student recruitment and information on international markets - both EU and non-EU. It has developed a wide knowledge base of the conditions and trends in and the dynamics of individual markets and has expertise in the promotion of UCL via a variety of channels. It can provide a range of information and services to faculties and departments including:

  • briefings on developments in overseas markets;
  • analysis of international student recruitment trends for their subjects and data on competitor performance;
  • advice on promoting their programmes including identifying specific opportunities and the most promising markets;
  • identifying opportunities for collaborative recruitment activities.

These services are geared towards assisting departments and faculties to develop integrated marketing strategies.

Members of the International Office represent UCL at events overseas - currently around 60 events in over 40 countries - promoting all levels of study. The International Office also works with other offices within UCL to develop and maintain relationships with key contacts such as funding bodies, ministries, universities, schools, alumni and other influencers.
