CPD4HE: Open Resources on HE Teaching and Learning
The CPD4HE project was funded by the HEA and JISC in the OMAC strand of UKOER Phase 2. It ran for one year, from September 2010. The project addressed the need to provide varied and flexible support for the professional development of staff who teach in HE.
We have developed and released educational resources to support the professional development of HE teachers. The emphasis is on two priority areas identified by the HEA, Digital Literacies and Discipline-specific Teaching and Learning. The resources also cover other topics, including assessment and feedback, academic literacies, designing and planning teaching, and key skills. These learning materials can be mapped onto the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF), so they can be used to support accreditation of teaching by both individual academics and course leaders.
