PCTLHPE

Following the closure of UCL's in-house PGCLTHE and MA Education, UCL has recently finalised a teacher training agreement with the Institute of Education (IoE), a world-leading institution in its field and our near neighbour in Bloomsbury. IoE will provide teacher training in higher and professional education to UCL's probationary lecturers and other academic and teaching staff as appropriate with effect from the start of the 2011/12 academic year.

The key provision will be built from the modules within the Institute's Professional Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher and Professional Education (PCTLHPE), although the Institute also run a range of MA programmes that may be appropriate for some UCL staff going forward.
