Faculty of Archaeology, Leiden University, The Netherlands

The CAA undertakes joint research into commercial archaeological practice with ARCHOL BV, the contracts division of Leiden University. It also is involved in joint research into international heritage management with the Faculty of Archaeology, looking in particular at ethical standards for heritage professionals and at heritage management in the developing world.

Council of Europe

The CAA provides policy advice on the implementation and monitoring of the Council of Europe's Heritage Conventions, as well as technical advice to its Regional Programme for South East Europe. We are also participating in the EU/CoE project 'Support to the Promotion of Cultural Diversity in Kosovo'.

International Centre for Chinese Heritage and Archaeology

The CAA provides advice on site management and conservation options for the site of Niuheliang, Liaoning Province in China. The CAA also contributed to the international conference "From concepts of the past to practical strategies - the teaching of archaeological field techniques", held in Beijing in April 2006.
