The CAA Seminar 2010-11 - Kirsty Norman On the 27th October, 2010, Kirsty, Principal Consultant for the CAA, gave the third CAA lecture titled 'Should the UK continue to make World Heritage Site Nominations?' The 6th floor lecture theatre was packed, and the controversial conclusion of the lecture was hotly debated. |

The CAA Seminar 2009-10 - Didier Bouakaze-Khan On the 24th May, 2010, Didier, Principal Consultant for the CAA, gave the second CAA lecture titled 'The Tsodilo Hills Project: Rock Art recording and the development of a World Heritage site in Botswana'. The lecture brought together staff from CAA's contract division (ASE) as well as specialists in the Archaeology of Africa. |

Whitehawk Enclosure Open Day, Brighton An open day was held on Sunday 20th September 2009 at Brighton and Hove's at one of Britain's oldest and most mysterious ancient stone age circles. Activities brought the archaeology of the hill to life and to showed the public ways in which you can get involved in archaeology in the City. Build your own Exhibition - Saturday 24th March 2007 The CAA provided assistance for the Young Archaeologist Club of the Institute of Archaeology with the organisation of an open day about archaeological exhibitions and museum displays. Over 30 pupils worked together and made their own artfefacts, labels and presentations for the exhibition 'Imagining Africa'. |

Archaeology in Conflict Conference - November 2006 The CAA international conference Archaeology in Conflict took place from 10-12 November 2006 in London. It focused on the underlying ethics of archaeological site management and its impact on local communities in Afghanistan, Palestine, Iraq and Lebanon. ..
