OUR EXPERTISE The CAA has staff based at the Institute of Archaeology, UCL, who together with our Principal Consultants, have a wide range of expertise in cultural resource management, archaeological law and project management, archaeological site management and interpretation. We work closely with the 90 academic experts of the Institute of Archaeology who are involved in archaeological work all over the world. CAA employs a further 39 professional staff in our offices at Archaeology South East with expertise in environmental impact assessment, historic building recording, landscape archaeology, urban archaeology, geomatics, geophysics, forensic archaeology, osteoarchaeology, materials analysis, archaeological illustration, post-excavation analysis and publication.
