Pathways of Thought Miss Jamie Kawadler (ICH)
Our portfolio of educational programmes brings together different disciplines, informed by an ethos of research and enterprise.
We have enhanced our existing MSc and MRes programmes with new courses for 2014/15 in the areas of brain science, translational medicine, mental health, medical audiology, visual sciences and human communication disorders.
- Study Clinical Neurology via Distance Learning. This is a unique opportunity to be trained in Neurology by experts at Queen Square and obtain a UCL diploma.
- The MRes Brain Sciences: based at the UCL Institute of Neurology, this is a unique taught postgraduate course involving leading specialists within the Faculty of Brain Sciences and spanning the breadth of multidisciplinary research across the Faculty. The course aims to provide an understanding of the human brain and its disorders from the molecular to the systems level, and is directly informed by the pioneering research in brain sciences conducted at UCL. An extensive empirical research project in any area of research within the Faculty is a cornerstone of the programme. The course will appeal to a range of graduates from various disciplines (e.g. biochemistry, human physiology, medical sciences, psychology), whose aim is to acquire skills to further their research career in academia, through competitive PhD programmes, or in industry.
