Coformulation of therapeutic proteins is increasingly popular in biopharmaceutics R&D. However, the analysis of the minor component is very challenging as the spectroscopic signal of the formulation is predominated by the major component. I use antibodies and their fragments as model systems to develop a high-resolution analytical method to investigate the mechanism of aggregation, particularly for the minor component, in this coformulation.
