Roles & responsibilities

Dhushy manages the Bernard Katz Building (Level 4-7); the Centre for Micro Biochemical Engineering including the Automation, Synthetic Biology and Chromatography facilities and has several years of Laboratory Management experience.

In addition she takes key role in departmental special projects related to the improvement of infrastructure and operations. These include planning and designing of new research laboratories and Management of Building refurbishment projects. 

Research Interests

Dhushy’s research interests lie primarily in the area of containment. She worked on a project, ' Quantification of Microbial release from static seals used in Bioprocess industries', sponsored by the Health and Safety Executive. She also has an interest in micro-scale bioprocessing.

Teaching and Training Activities

Dhushy oversees set-up and operation of the laboratory-based Undergraduate and Masters level chromatography practicals.
